I actually had a friend who called himself Slider, but I can't very well dedicate this cache to him, since his name was all about dirt bike riding, and this has nothing whatsoever to do with that. This cache is following a drive we (The Diamond Hunters-- DH for short) took one lovely fall afternoon. We're a funny little group-- I'm the grandma, whose grandkids all live far away. They are several families of local kids, usually caching with me in sibling groups until this week when I discovered that two of my caching buddies are in the same 4th grade classroom together. Can't take one out caching without the other now. Never seen two girls have so much fun hiding treasure and searching for other treasures. We stopped at a park in Whitefish and played for awhile too.
Fact is, the girls hid all these geocaches with the intent of people seeing how beautiful the fall colors are. Granted, it will only be fall a few weeks here, but while it is, the colors are brilliant and dazzling.
Watch out on the road, lots of cars, lots of people.
