Tο Καμάρι είναι μια από τις πιο γνωστές και κεντρικές παραλίες, το επίνειο της Κεφάλου, θα μπορούσα να πω, καθώς εκεί βρίσκεται και το λιμάνι της Κεφάλου,όπου συγκεντρώνεται ένας μεγάλος αριθμός αλιευτικών σκαφών. Το λιμανάκι, είναι όμορφο και γραφικό, γεμάτο ψαροκάικα, σκάφη που κάνουν μίνι εκδρομούλες όπως π.χ το KamariBoats που πηγαίνει από Νίσυρο και Άγιο Αντώνιο, μέχρι Σαρακηνό, και για Ηλιοβασίλεμα στην Κρίκελο, αλλά ενίοτε και πολύ μεγαλύτερα σκάφη.
Deutsch: Kamari ist einer der bekanntesten und schönsten Strände der Insel Kos. Trotz dieser Bekanntheit ist er nicht völlig überladen. Es ist halt mehr ein Dorf als ein großes Ressort. Glasklares Wasser, sowohl Sand- als auch Steinstrände erwarten euch hier. Der kleine malerisch schöne Hafen ist voll mit Fischer- und Ausflugsbooten. Größere Schiffe sieht man eher selten.
English: Kamari is one of the most famous Beaches on Kos. But it's not to full of people. It's more village - life than ressort - life. Cold clear water, sand- and stone-beaches are waiting for you. The small beautifull port is full of fishermen- and sightseeing-boats. Bigger ships are rare.
