Geocache Description:

a Geocaching Haunted Observations and Supernatural Tales (G.H.O.S.T.) Challenge geocache

The Ghost of Etowah Crossing
a known paranormal hotspot in Rome, Georgia

From the Rome News-Tribune: In June of 1915, Bart Adams, 40 years old, drowned in the Etowah River by falling from the Central of Georgia trestle. His body was recovered down river a few hours later. He was said to be on his way to his sister’s home in East Rome in company with his nephew, when at the first pier he fell head foremost into the river.

This old Central of Georgia Railroad trestle has been converted into a biking and foot bridge. It is dedicated to Bob Moore who, for many years, was the proprietor of Bob's Bicycle Shop in Rome.
