This series of caches will tell you about different community orchestras in the SF Bay Area. This is an especially rich area for amateur music. Each of these caches will also have a clue in it, the name of a composer. Collect all the composer names to get the coordinates for a bonus cache. The bonus cache, or Community Orchestra Series Final, is GC81X7C.
The fifth cache in this series highlights SBP, the South Bay Philharmonic.
For 15 years, the Hewlett-Packard Symphony Orchestra offered a friendly environment for musicians of various skill levels to rehearse and perform. Though the group started within HP, community members were always welcome to participate. The HPSO no longer exists, but a few of its members now play in the South Bay Philharmonic. The SBP offers a low-stress and welcoming environment for members, and plays 3 full orchestra concerts per year, plus an occasional chamber music concert. They rehearse in St. Timothy's Episcopal Church across the street from this cache.
Parking is available at St. Timothy's or around the corner on Sleeper Ave.

Congratulations to rragan, someone who has attended concerts of the SBP, on the FTF!
