When this new section of trail opened I decided to put a cache out to help people experience the trail. The trail is one of Sonora's little treasures and one of my favorite short hikes. Since it has cooled down, today was perfect to take a hike and hide the cache. My first choice of location was too close to another cache so I dropped down a couple of switchbacks and found a spot that worked.
You're looking for camouflaged water bottle on the uphill side of the trail. You should be able to get a visual before reaching in there. It contains some small swag, three trackables and a log sheet.
