Geocache Description:


Today the Grandad in our family celebrated his 90th birthday. He was born in 1928 - the same year as Shirley Temple, Adam West, Andy Warhol, Che Guevara and Fats Domino. We thought it would be nice to place a cache to celebrate his special day in an area he would have enjoyed when he was younger. We recommend parking in the car park on Allendale Road and walking in. If you choose to use Quarry Track to get to the cache, be prepared for an uphill battle! There's a steep brick section of track that will make your legs ache (and it could be slippery in wet conditions).
