The new suburbs of the Molonglo valley are home to some fantastic outdoor public spaces and neighbourhood parks. This one in the suburb of Coombs is another fine example of urban planning, with covered picnic tables, seating, irrigated lawn areas, extensive plantings, remant pine trees and curved gabion retaining walls. An interesting feature is the interactive sculptural play space in the shape of an ice cream cone.
