This is part of the Mahwah Girl Scouts Geocaching Series, which features some popular places to visit and check out in the area.
This cache is located at Darlington County Park, but is not at the listed coordinates. In honor of the Juniors’ Geocaching badge, we’re going to have a little fun with this one!
Girl Scout Junior
Juniors are in fourth and fifth grades. Their uniform is a green vest or sash which may be worn with a white shirt and khaki bottoms. Juniors are the first level to wear the official Girl Scout Membership Pin on their uniform. The Girl Scout Membership Star is worn with yellow membership disks. They earn circle shaped badges, and are eligible to earn the Bronze Award, the highest award in Girl Scouting available at this level. It is as a Junior when a Girl Scout may be introduced to this activity that we all know and love, through the Geocaching Girl Scout badge.
Please note that there is a fee to enter the park during summer months.
To find the cache, go to listed coordinates and look at green-lettered sign to the left of the showers.
