This is part of the Mahwah Girl Scouts Geocaching Series, which features some popular places to visit and check out in the area.
This cache is located along the Pink/Black trail at Campgaw Mountain Reservation. Campgaw has primitive camping sites available for a small fee which are perfect for adventure-seekers and Cadettes who are working on their Trailblazing badge.
Girl Scout Cadette
Cadettes are Girl Scouts who are in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Their uniform is a khaki vest or sash. The Girl Scout Membership Star is worn with white membership disks. Cadettes earn diamond-shaped badges, and are eligible to earn the Silver Award, which is the highest award available to girls at this level.
