About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website

Welcome to Stapleton Road.

This station is operated by GWR, and has 2 platform with minimal facilities, a help point and a metal shelter .

The station opened in 1863 as a single platform and expanded to four platforms but a reduced service in 1960s turned it back to two platforms.

This train station serves trains Southbound to Bristol Temple Meads, Weymouth, wesbury and one train a day to Brighton.

There are also northbound services to Great Malvern and the Severn beach line.

Only local trains stop here and all operated by GWR.

There is a interesting mural on the station.
Originally painted in 1999, depicting community life in Easton and contains life-size figures waiting for a train.

Historical figures appear of famous locals including the cricketer W.G.Grace,Indian reformer Raja Rammohun Roy, and the Trade Union founde Ben Tillett.
