The first time I saw a Little Free Library, I fell in love!
I can't think of a town more in need of a LFL than Mahaffey. The closest library is 15 miles away, and the Bookmobile no longer comes to this part of the county.
I had a friend who did wood-working and I explained what a Little Free Library was and asked for a quote. He, too, loved the concept...and instead of giving me a quote, built this as a gift for me to share with my town.
This should be a safe place for travelers...and if you see a book you (or your little ones) might like to have, please take it...then someday when you have books that you don't need anymore, find a LFL near you and donate them please!
