This is a series of geocaches placed on an abandoned railway grade adjacent to Highway 55. These caches are placed near the midpoint of Highway 55 which stretches from Mountain Cabin ,SK to Athabasca , AB. Highway 55 is also designated as the Northern Woods and Water Route. The Northern Woods and Water Route is a 2,400-kilometre route through northern British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in Western Canada There are several approaches to park on along the way , so PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE HIGHWAY. The caches vary in size with most of them being winter friendly, and are accessable by walking , horseback riding biking quading or snowmobiling , so get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
