Cacheを見つけたら、その位置から道の向こう側少し左手を見ると、擁壁の隙間に古びた石碑が見えるはずです。
昭和二年に昭和天皇が愛馬「錦渓」に跨ってこの辺りを散策されたことを記念して建てられた碑です。
もう少し上流側へ歩くと、視界が開けます。

It is a monument built in 1927 to commemorate that Emperor Showa strolled around with the beloved horse "Nishikikei".
