Living in Pennsylvania, we all know the weather can be a bit...precocious. But, if (almost) nothing can stop the mail, then I say the same holds true for us cachers! I've visited a number of places around the US, many of which have a more favorable (or at least less variable) caching climate than our local area. Nonetheless, I'm not one to let the weather stop me when I'm traveling. Hopefully, it won't stop you from finding this cache, either!

Consider this...
- In August 2018, I took a trip North and did a lot of caching, including GCK25B. Although the skies were hazy, we had great caching weather all week!
- Sometimes after a lot of caching, I take a break and won't find any caches for a bit.
- In March 2018, I visited friends for my birthday and found GCBFE3. Though we dodged some storms, the temperatures sure were more pleasant than back home!
- I haven't yet been there, but I'd love to find GC23, along with so many more. Talk about a beautiful climate!
- Two caches with opposite climates are GC6341 and GC2C32. I haven't found either, but I want to!
- It may be chilly at GCK0J6, but luckily you can warm up with some tasty treats! That place is definitely on my list!
- The largest and smallest geocaching events that I've ever attended, respectively, were GC5AX15 and GC6CMV7. The former was hot & humid, while the latter (the first event I ever hosted) was cool & comfortable!
- During a cross-country trip in 2012, I was out West and found GC1JY47, which was absolutely stunning. I was glad to visit in the summer, instead of the winter, when it can get quite cold there...
- Another cache I'd like to find on a trip is GCA6FA - doesn't it look like freezing cold fun?
- When I went to New Orleans in April 2017, I convinced my friend there to drive to me to find GC3RQGN, so I could get a new state! It sure was hot, so I was grateful to have A/C!
- On August 21, 2017, I made a long drive to GC51B5, where I witnessed totality during the solar eclipse. It was a bit cloudy, but great weather and clear when it counted. What an incredible experience!
- In May 2015, on a beautiful spring day, I attended my first-ever Mega Event. The first and last caches we logged that day, respectively, were GC54840 and GC13NCT, which is a highly-favorited cache a bit closer to home.
- GC18Z99 is the most-favorited cache in its state - check the photos and you'll see why! Does it get any better than this? I'll make it there someday...another one for the bucket list!
- My first official geocache find was in July 2008 at GCGKT1. I'm sure you can probably relate to the climate here.
