Since James Bond films have always had some sort of gadget involved, I decided to create a gadget cache of sorts.
Inside GC7YNFW (GAG26 - A View To A Cache) you will find two extra items; an NFC (near field communication) tag and a QR code.
You will need a smartphone or other capable device to read one of these in order to locate the final coordinates of this cache.
NFC Tags and will your device be able to read it
Many "Green Dude", "Dark Berry", or "Redmond" based smartphones are able to read the NFC tag.
The earliest version of portable telephony devices that keep the doctor away which support NFC (6/6+) are unable to read the NFC tag for the purposes of this cache, so use the QR code.
Later versions (7/8/X) can read the tags if they use OS version 11 and have an NFC app installed.
The latest generation (XS/XS Max/XR) can read NFC tags.
This cache was placed with the intention of being found for GAG26, which takes place on October 26th at 6pm.
