St Mary the Virgin Aythorpe Roding is a delightful 13th century manor church set away from the village down a quiet lane, surrounded by fields and the rolling Essex countryside. There is some evidence that the village once surrounded the church, but the houses are now scattered throughout the parish. Aythorpe Roding is part of the Six Parishe
