7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This neighbourhood has seen a lot of change over the years. Prior to 1970, the whole area was nothing but a large swamp until the Delfin property developers reclaimed it and turned it into a popular property estate by the end of 1977.

Football Park (AAMI Stadium) was  built in 1974 and the first football match for premiership points   was played between North Adelaide and Central districts in May. In the SANFL Grand final that year Sturt defeated Glenelg.

Westlakes Mall was opened in November of 1974 (which coincidentally happens to be my month and year of birth) and has been a commercial hub for the suburb ever since.

At this time of writing, AAMI Stadium is being deconstructed and being replaced by new attractive realestate and marks another significant change in the local area. Although it is sad to see AAMI Stadium go, there's no disputing the advantages of having our citiy's main sporting arena more central and easier to access with public transport.
