Welcome to part 5 of this Waukarusa Walkabout series! This one takes you to some of the prettiest scenes this river has to offer. On the way to this cache you can see many geologically fascinating formations including gorgeous bluffs and even some small caves. There are many majestic trees and in the autumn the view is breathtaking. On the way down the bluff you will hear the rushing sound of the river as it flows around the bend. You will no doubt hear many different bird songs and probably see some turtles and fish as well! Oh, and if it is Spring when you find this one, you might see some kayakers breeze by as well. I hope you enjoy the trek to find the cache just as much as I enjoyed exploring this area and making the hide! Once you have the unique cache container in hand, you might need to use a special tool to extract the tiny log scroll from the tube. Please close the lid securely to keep out moisture and please replace the cache as found.
