Come for a drive in the countryside and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. We noticed a gap on the geocaching map and thought this was a nice area for a few more caches. The cache is located near one end of the Vic Olsen bridge over the Mary River. There is a launch point near here right next to the bridge on the southern side for part of the Mary Valley kayaking and canoeing trail along the Mary River. Just 24km (6 hours) paddling to Traveston Crossing to the north or 27km (7-8 hours) to Pickering Bridge, Moy Pocket to the south.
You can park close to gz on the north-eastern side of the bridge. This is a new bridge built high hopefully out of reach of the usual floods.
We never thought we'd place a hide of this type but it was the most convenient spot in this location and traffic should not be heavy in this area.
