Terrigal was named by John Grey (the first European in the district) in 1826 after the Awabakal people language, meaning “place of little birds”.
Terrigal is the main beach tourist attraction on the Central Coast. Built in 1954 the Rockpool has being a popular spot for kids (or parents) who don’t want to go in the rough surf. It was built by fundraising through the local community and cost $720 at the time which is now approximately $14,000.
There was once stairs (pictured below) down to the beach but these got washed away in storms. You can still see them in low tide near the stormwater drains.

The large rock behind the pool is called "Granny's Rock". I haven't being able to find much information on this so if anyone has any info let me know :)

There can be a lot of muggles in this area (espcially during holiday times) so stealth is required. Small climb but nothing too difficult. There’s a pencil in there for logging so please don't take it.
There’s plenty room for trackables and swaps. Please make sure it is hidden back well as this one has being muggled before and feel free to post photos!
