Filbert Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

gbeirn: Sorry! I just checked and update the description. I moved a couple of months ago and forgot to take this with me or update the new owner as to what it was.

Right below that cap stuck to the post was a red magnetic reflector that opened to reveal the log book.

Looks like it’s been removed or otherwise gone missing :(

Geocache Description:

Winter 2023 Update: I moved a few months ago and forgot to take the cache with me or update the new owners as to what it was. Turns out the cache is now gone :( sorry everyone who looked recently and couldn't find it.
It was a red light reflector that had a magnetic back that was stuck to the fence post in the corner near the rose bush. The container (about 3/4"x 3") would snap apart and contain a very tiny log book in a very tiny zip lock bag. Thanks for all the fun over the years!

What's eating Filbert's nuts? The squirells!

'Reflect' upon the beauty of Corylus americana.

Cache is accessible from sidewalk, please don't enter yard, two little attack dogs reside within. Bring your own pen.

Spring 2020 Edit: cache is still there, I've added a new logbook, apologies it took so long to get to.
The hazelnut trees are cut down but you can still 'reflect' about Robert Frost's Mending Wall poem and what makes good neighbors and you'll be right at the corner of it!
