This cache placed with the approval of the National Parks and Wildlife Services . Please note that there is threatened flora in this area of the park and please do not leave the established tracks. There is no need to bush bash to reach this cache and if you find yourself bush bashing, please stop - you're doing it wrong
Located on a sleepy pretty trail in the Berowra Valley Regional Park, this cache is a lovely walk from GC7WYNW The Other End. Or you could come at it from GC7VXEA Appletree To Bushland 1.
It's an easy walk, there might be some navigation challenges since it's on a well defined but unmapped trail. Please note that you do not have to depart from a defined trail to find this cache. No bush bashing required, the only challenge really is the navigation. To help you out, this GPX file will take you there, albeit via the long, but very scenic direction. This route takes you through Refuge Rock and past some very interesting rock formations including a natural arch. Again, if you find yourself bush bashing, you're doing it wrong:) Don't try to come at this directly from the Patricia Trail (although if you're up for a slightly longer walk, it's very nice). The most direct route to the cache is via the Trevors Lane Trail. Use the waypoints
There are wallabies, echidnas, all manner of birds, lizards and, yes, snakes in this bushland so common sense and the normal care and attention required for walking the Australia bush should be exercised. Exercise caution when exploring nooks and crannies.
