La fortificazione "Poggio Rasu", costruita tra il 1886 e i primi anni del '900, è distinta in "Poggio Rasu Inferiore" e "Poggio Rasu Superiore".
Questa geocache si trova nel complesso” poggio rasu inferiore”.
All’ingresso della batteria è presente una bacheca descrittiva posizionata dall’Ente Parco Nazionale che spiega in modo esauriente l’architettura del fortino.

Beyond The fortification “ Poggio Rasu”, built between 1886 and the beginning of the twentieth century, is divided in “Poggio Rasu lower” and “ Poggio Rasu higher”. This geocache is situated in “Poggio Rasu lower”. At the entrance of the battery you will find an information bulletin board positioned from the Park institution wich explains in a clear way the architecture of the fortin. This cache is not suitable for those suffering from claustrophobia and those who are afraid of the dark. Don’t forget to bring a torch and pay attention to where you put your feet…and your head! Different routes exist to get to the cache, in the reading we have shown the one we prefer. We recommend NOT to PUT any photo spoiler, not to ruin the taste of research! How my big friend MAD MAX advices: remember that you are inside the National Park and this includes prohibitions and limitations. The researches are done at your own risk, conscious of your own capacity because some paths request commitment and time considering the wild places and away from the services.
