Cache placed for the 2018 KNC Geocaching Extravaganza, Fall Edition! The KNC offers a beautiful natural setting to explore, nearly 12 miles on 16 different trails of various terrain, and chances to encounter wildlife! There is an admission fee to hike the trails. April through October the trails are open 9am to dusk. November-March the trails are open from 9am-6pm. More details are available at http://www.naturecenter.org/ to help plan your visit!
This cache isn't named after a Michigan bird, nor is there any interesting aviary trivia available here, but this cache does present a unique challenge! You won't have any trouble finding the container, but you might be in for a bit of a challenge locating the log to sign. Keep your head up, and be prepared to spend a few minutes here locating the log to sign ... you'll find it, eventually!
