Welcome to Matthew's Field in lovely Thomaston Georgia...Hope of the Upson-Lee Knights!!! This field was first opened in 1953 as the home to the R.E. Lee Rebels. At that time, the field was considered to be one of the best high school stadiums in the state and was comparable to many college stadiums. Through the years the stadium has seen many sporting events..from being home to 1988 2AA State Champion R.E.Lee Rebels, cross town rivals, Upson High Yellow Jackets and now the Upson-Lee Knights football and soccer teams.
The cache is small, so you will need to bring a pen, and at certain times, this is a really high muggle area. If you are caching during a game, be sure to use a lot of stealth and make sure to return to the same location so other cachers can have fun finding it too.
