We all know that life comes with certain financial inevitabilities. From rent, utilities, food, clothing and other asundries, life cost money. But as time goes on, we learn that we may have to pay for parking, pay to use the facilities, and even pay for a shower. I am starting to wonder if there is really anything in life that is truly FREE?? You would think that the air we breathe is free but the truth is, there is a clear air tax every time we fill up our geomobiles. Maybe a stick in the woods that we pick up is 'free' but we had to burn gas to get there so we could pick it up. And if we walk from our house to get the stick, that house comes with Property Tax, Insurance, Utility costs, and more. Our bodies are not free, we have to eat food, drink water and other acts to keep it alive. Love is not free, it comes with an emotional cost and many times, a financial cost as we need to show our love with gifts. Is Geocaching free? We have to bring a pen to most caches, so obtaining that pen cost something. Maybe if we lived in a cave, somewhere on public land, and found a cache by accident, it might be considered 'free.' But it still cost us energy to obtain it. Therefore, let's face reality, we have to PAY for LIFE!
