Placed by Firefighters in honor of our local Veterans. Veterans Park is located behind the Breaux Bridge Fire Department and has become a gem in our community with the new renovations honoring or local vets. Take a moment to admire our local heros that have been etched in brick under the Vietnam soldier statue. We are proud of all those who place service to others before themselves.
The Breaux Bridge Vol. Fire Co. was established in 1936 known then as the Blue Bucket Bregade. It was relocated into the current building in 1968 and is fully operational. BBVFC has a total of 10 Trucks and as much as 50 Volunteers responding to 300+ Fire and rescue related calls anually covering the City of Breaux Bridge and surrounding area.
Please park at the Library or the street at the entrance of the park. NEVER park at the Fire Station itself- although walking around the station is welcome. If we are at the station at the time of your visit come say hello!
