The cache is along the old railway line (now tarred) from Melrose Station towards the Borders General Hospital. Its a nice walk most times of the year, but especially when the whole area is awash with Daffodils in the spring.
If you have cached around Galashiels, you will probably have come across one of this type of cache already.
Parking can be in Melrose, or in the area of the hospital, or in the Darnick area.
