Geocache Description:

THE SPIRAL JETTY

The Spiral Jetty is a world famous earth art work created in 1970 by American Sculptor Robert Smithson (1938-1973).

Located about 12 miles South of the Golden Spike National Monument on the North End of the Great Salt Lake at Rozelle Point. The drive out could be a little bumpy and dusty on the car although the road is improved road base (gravel) and well maintained all the way to parking area at the Jetty.
