Many years ago, Rototuna was all farm land. There was also no Pukete bridge to reach the area. To get to it from the other side of the river, one would have to cross at the Fairfield Bridge, and then drive north.
I distinctly recall living in Hamilton East when members of my family moved to Flagstaff. Directions to their new house included: drive past Chartwell Square (one of the better malls at the time, the others being CentrePlace, Downtown Plaza, and the Kmart mall), down the dip, up the other side and when you see the old church on the left, take the next left, etc. The church is now a dance academy and those directions might get you headed in the right direction, but a lot has changed since then!
Cache is located near the dance academy, but enough away that you shouldn't attract too much attention. Potential park and grab depending on which direction you approach from.
