At this site the original Sandy Ridge Fire Tower was built in the early 1920s. It was torn down on 9-11-18 and the new tower was finished in early October of 2018. This cache is on State Game Lands so be sure to wear fluorescent orange during hunting seasons. The road may be difficult to travel during the winter, often the upper end toward the firetower doesn't get plowed. There are lots of tics in this area and rattlesnakes are often seen in this area. There is some bushwacking involved so be careful.Congratulations to carels FTF!!!!!
