As you know, the Autobot Transformers are always on the run from the evil Decepticons. They often need to create makeshift forts/camps/shelters in the middle of the forest to evade detection. This series is designed to take you to some of their forgotten 'hideouts'...
A long time ago an Autobot was sniped out of his defense lookout platform. The Autobots buried him nearby and hid his Energon Cube at the base of his platform. To find the location of the Energon Cube you must test your observation skills in a variety of ways.
First you must solve the following to get a set of coordinates that will lead you to the start of a trail that you must follow.
N45° 15.5(A)5' W075° 56.8(B+C-3)4'
At stages 1-3, you will need to observe your surroundings. What you find there will be associated with a number that you will need in order to determine the coordinates to the start of an 'Autobot trail'. The "corresponding number" and coordinates to visit are listed below.
The corresponding number for each "object" that is found at the stages:
- 1 = An Autobot hideout/camp
- 2 = A hidden stash of Transformer mobility devices
- 3 = Lumber that was going to be used to build an improved Autobot shelter
- 4 = A tall defense lookout platform
- 5 = A vent leading to a hidden underground Autobot base.
Destinations to "Observe" at:
- A = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 15.612' W 75° 56.827' (corresponds to Stage 1)
- B = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 15.598' W 75° 56.831' (corresponds to Stage 2)
- C = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 15.564' W 75° 56.838' (corresponds to Stage 3)
These coordinates mark the start of a hidden Autobot trail. Follow the trail looking for blue/red/yellow/green ribbons on the trees. They should eventually lead you to an opening which is the spot of a hidden Autobot hideout/camp. (i.e. look for an area where the forest breaks and walk out into the opening, you should see the Autobot hideout shortly). Standing at the hideout, turn 360º until you spot the tree shown in the picture below (it's a noteworthy 'v' shaped tree):
At the base of that tree you will find many stones (which is actually the burial site of the poor Autobot). Just a few meters to the North-West you will see his defense lookout platform along with the hidden Energon Cube.
