Micd’s nose really can sniff out plastic boxes in the forest. He recently celebrated 10,000 fines!!!!!
He even got a cake (with a wee spelling error :)
What are Micd’s fines? This is our list just to start it off:
caching before sunrise,
caching a DNF,
caching by bushwhacking too far,
caching up a tree,
caching on the edge of private property,
caching his first traditional in Chesley Kinsmen Park,
caching in a cemetery,
caching the hard way in and easy way out,
caching in the dark with a flashlight…
What about your fines? (please add to your logs)
Eventually, we'd like to narrow down a fines list of 10,000!
Fines added from the logs: ~
- using a whole tank of gas for a FTF
- driving hours for a FTF

- leaving my wife and daughter sitting in the car on the side of a busy highway for just a minute
and being gone for 1/2 hour
- CO - breaking a rib at a cache tripping over a tree root and landing on my phone
- chain sawing trees off a trail to get a ATV though
- climb a mountain
- slept in a tent in Bear country

- caching with a new buddy and ending up in emerg.
This cache location offers beautiful views of Southampton harbour and the boats, Chantry Island, the Canadian Flag in Southampton and the lighthouse if you care to walk down the steps to it. Be careful with your children at the top of the steps.
The container is hiding at the bottom of the right post on the 'inside'. (The left post has gone AWOL. PLEASE tuck it back on the inside of the post so it doesn't disappear down the hill in a wind. PLEASE use stealth in this sometimes busy muggle area.
RVs and Big Rigs can park here - lots of long room - but you will have to continue down the road and around the corner following the "Shore Road" - as it bends - until you turn right onto "Oak Street", then left at the T-intersection onto "Turner St." continuing straight until you are back out at Hwy. 21
Please let the CO know if the cache needs attention.
Please treat this cache as your own ~ be stealthy, seal tight, re-hide as you found it.
