De advent begint de vierde zondag voor kerstmis en eindigt op 24 december. Hierdoor is de lengte van de adventperiode verschillend, maar telt advent wel altijd 4 zondagen.
Voor veel kinderen begint het aftellen naar kerst op 1 december met een adventskalender van 24 hokjes. Als je geluk hebt zit er in elk hokje een deurtje met daarachter een vakje met een chocolaatje of een speeltje.
Voor Geocachers is er ook dit jaar weer een adventskalender. Met 22 micro's, een korte multi en een letterbox, tellen we af naar de kerst. Elke dag één cache. In deze caches zitten geen chocolaatjes maar aanwijzingen. Verzamel ze alle 24, dan kun je op eerste kerstdag op zoek naar de bonus.
De caches blijven tot 1 april 2019 liggen. Dan worden de caches opgeruimd en de listings gearchiveerd.
Deze adventserie is tot stand gekomen met medewerking van Staatsbosbeheer. Als wederdienst willen we de deelnemers vragen om de rommel die je onderweg tegenkomt op te pakken en in de vuilnisbakken te deponeren of mee naar huis te nemen. Zo houden we samen dit prachtige gebied opgeruimd.
Log een "Needs Maintenance" als de cache niet in orde is.
Het bos is alleen toegankelijk tussen zonsopgang en zonsondergang. Alle caches liggen binnen 5 meter van de paden. Ga niet verder het bos in.
Honden moeten aan de lijn. Naast dat hun eigen veiligheid in het geding kan komen, mag ook de rust en winterslaap van dieren niet verstoord worden.

The Advent begins four Sundays before Christmas and ends on December 24th. As a result, the length of the Advent period can differ but it has always four Sundays in it. For many children the countdown to Christmas starts on December 1st. with an Advent calendar that has 24 little doors. If you are lucky, behind each door is a box with a chocolate or a toy.
This year there is also an Advent calendar specialized for geocachers. With 24 caches, most are micros, we count down to Christmas. Every day one cache. In these caches you will not find chocolates, but you will find clues instead. Collect all 24 of them and as a reward you can go looking for the Bonus cache on Christmas day.

As a return we want to ask all participants to pick up the trash that you find on your way and to dump it in a nearby garbage can or take it home with you and dispose it there. In this manner we keep this beautiful area clean and leave it for everybody to enjoy to the max.
Please Log a "Needs Maintenance" if you find the cache to be in a poor condition.
Access to the forest is only allowed between sunrise and sunset. All caches are placed within 5 meters from the tracks. Please do not go further into the forest.
Dogs must be kept on leash at all times. Beside that strolling around could affect their own safety, the animals that live in the forest should be allowed to rest and hibernate without being disturbed.

Pour beaucoup d’enfants (et d’adultes) le compte jusqu’à rebours à Noël commence le 1 décembre avec un calendrier de l’avent qui compte 24 petites portes. Quand on a de la chance, on trouvera un petit chocolat ou un autre petit cadeau derrière la porte. Pour les géocacheurs, il existe maintenant pour la septième année un calendrier de l’avent. La série sera composée de 22 tradi’s, un court multi et un letter box. Les indices nécessaires pour trouver les coordonnées de la cache bonus se trouvent dans les logbooks des caches précédentes. Tous les indices sont présents deux fois. Le sol du bois pourrait être glissant, de bonnes chaussures sont récommendées. La série sera entièrement archivée au 1er avril.
