As you know, the Autobot Transformers are always on the run from the evil Decepticons. They often need to create makeshift forts/camps/shelters in the middle of the forest to evade detection. This series is designed to take you to some of their forgotten 'hideouts'...
The posted coordinates mark the rumored location of an Energon cube hidden in the middle of some trees. The rumors also suggest that nearby was an old abandoned Autobot hideout (campsite). Perhaps they forgot about the Energon cube as they fled in haste from the Decepticons.
Note: There is no need to cross that stream... keep on the trail till the end as the trail will fork east and west (with the west direction leading right to the hideout + container). At the time of hiding this, the trail leading to this hideout was only a bit wet here and there. It's pretty flooded right now (Nov, 2018) due to a beaver at the end of the stream near the hideout, which is causing the water to flood the trail (I saw the beaver at night, and it sure scared me at first due to his loud tail slaps). See the previous comments from either royfran or Starkiller_ on how to approach the cache if you can't easily walk right there on the non-bushwhack trail if it's still flooded.
