Lake Cootharaba is one of our favourite places to visit where we have spent many sailing weekends and holidays. We thought our existing cache on the lake needed some company (GC5RP5V Hotspur's Playground II) and this location has opened up again with the most recent cache being archived. The Lake is a great place for family fun on the water suitable for any small watercraft. The sailing club is always bustling with races on most weekends. Down here at the boat ramp, is where the trailer sailers and power boats are launched. A good stepping off point to exploring the everglades north of the lake along the Noosa River or sailing across the lake and then walking across to Teewah beach.
At the boat ramp, you will find many essential facilities. Marine information sign and toilets. Also lots of big paperbarks overhanging the water to climb.
The cache is in plain sight but you may disregard it as something else. Reaching it will require a bit of a stretch. We have had this homemade cache for a little while waiting for the right location and I think it fits in very well here. Please note: Poopleberries are a cute toddler name for number twos.
Please ensure you put the cache back together properly, using the guiding arrows; and replace in the exact same location.
