Cache placed for the 2018 KNC Geocaching Extravaganza, Fall Edition! The KNC offers a beautiful natural setting to explore, nearly 12 miles on 16 different trails of various terrain, and chances to encounter wildlife! There is an admission fee to hike the trails. April through October the trails are open 9am to dusk. November-March the trails are open from 9am-6pm. More details are available at http://www.naturecenter.org/ to help plan your visit!
The second Wherigo at the KNC! In order to go on this adventure you'll need to download the Birds of Michigan Wherigo cartridge (http://www.wherigo.com/cartridge/details.aspx?CGUID=5804899c-f97a-4c95-838d-5c324c07c024) and play on either your smart phone (you can use the Whereyougo application) or on a compatible GPS unit that can play Wherigo cartridges (the list of compatible GPS models is limited). This cache adventure will take you on a tour of the Delano Homestead and field, and in total is less than one mile of walking. Suggestion, keep your eyes peeled for other published caches as you take this tour, you'll be walking by about five of them!
If you succeed in visiting each of the stops along the way, your final stop will be near a physical cache where you can sign in and complete your adventure and claim your smiley! Watch for the bald eagle in the Wherigo, it will give you the coordinates to the final!

Please be considerate to the natural surroundings as you enjoy all that KNC has to offer, and try to leave the environment a little better than before you visit!
