This cache is located on the Allander Walkway, a 10k footpath that runs from Milngavie in East Dunbartonshire to the Riverside Museum. The walkway follows the route of several tributaries to the River Clyde, the first of which is the Allander River, which then joins the River Kelvin. When coming from Milngavie, you will find the cache located near one of the first footbridges to cross the river, The Prescott Bridge. The bridge is dedicated to the memory of SSgt 'Jim' Prescott CCM RF who gave his life during the Falklands Campaign in 1982.ย
The cache is a small clip-lock box covered in camouflage tape. It is hidden on the south side of the bridge. Please bring your own pen. Happy Caching!ย
