This Wherigo cartridge will take you on a pleasant, easy stroll along a former railway right of way. Just so there are no surprises, the last 100 metres is a bit steep but it is a well-maintained trail. Once you have reached the end of the cartridge you will receive the coordinates and a useful hint for the final geocache location.
Since the first passenger train's inaugural run in 1914, West Vancouver has always had a tempestuous relationship with the railway line that runs through it, and in 1972 a nearly-catastrophic derailment in this quiet Fisherman’s Cove neighbourhood forced the railway to resort to drastic measures. Follow the story as you walk the trail.
Including the return walk back to the parking area at the posted coordinates, completing this cartridge and finding the cache will take most players about an hour.
