On Monday, a duck walked up to a lemonade stand and he said to the man running the stand, "Hey, got any grapes?" The man said, "No, we just sell lemonade, but it's cold and it's fresh and it's all homemade. The best lemonade ever. Can I get you a glass?" The duck said, "I'll pass." Then he waddled away...until the very next day.
On Tuesday, the duck walked up to the lemonade stand and he said to the man running the stand. "Hey, got any grapes?" The man said, "No. Like I said yesterday, we just sell lemonade. Why not give it a try?" The duck said, "Goodbye." Then he waddled away...until the very next day.
On Wednesday, the duck walked up to the lemonade stand and as the last customer got a drink, the duck said to the man running the stand, "Hey, got any grapes?" The man said, "Look duck, this is getting old. I've told you before - all we sell is lemonade. That is all we've ever sold. Why not give it a go?" The duck said, "How about NO." Then he waddled away...until the very next day.
On Thursday, the duck walked up to the lemonade stand and as the last customer got a drink, the duck said to the man running the stand, "Hey, got any grapes?" The man said, "THAT'S IT! If you don't stay away duck, I'll glue you to a tree and leave you there all day - stuck. So don't get too close." The duck said, "Adios." Then he waddled away...until the very next day.
On Friday, the duck walked up to the lemonade stand and he said to the man that was running the stand, "Hey, got any glue?" "WHAT?" said the man running the stand. "Why would I have any glue...you crazy duck..." The duck nodded and said, "And one more question for you. Got any grapes?" And the man just stopped. Then he started to smile. He began to laugh (he laughed for quite awhile). He laughed so long that the duck waddled away...until the very next day.
On Saturday, the duck walked up to the lemonade stand. The man chuckled and waited for the duck's question, because he'd bought some grapes from the store. But the duck didn't ask anything because his mouth was full.
