Geocache Description:

Seaton Hiking Trail

This multi cache will take you on a hike along some of the north end of the Seaton Trail.

A multi that starts in the parking lot, then takes you along the trails to a spot to gather some more information, and then off along the trail system to the final. Please note that the terrain of the trail will vary depending on the weather. After heavy rains part of the trail may be treacherous, covered in water, and could be above your boot level. The terrain rating assigned is based on the worst case scenario, at many times the terrain might be considered lower for some, also for some a special tool may be required while for others this would just be a walk in the park, know your own limits.

1) At the first stage (posted) there is a sign about the trail system provided by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).  Use the sign to determine the necessary information below,

A - According to the sign how many kms long is the Seaton trail?

B - According to the sign how many centimeters wide is each trail blaze?

C - According to the sign how many centimeters tall is each trail blaze?

Use the above information in the following to get to the next stage

Project (A x B x 10) meters at (B x C x 2) degrees from N43° 54.156' W079° 10.715'

The digital root of the 7 digits in the north is 3 and the digital root of the 8 digits in the west is also 3.

2) At this stage you will be able to see two different white blazes (trail markers). Use these markers to determine the values below.

D - The sum of the 4 digits from the marker with the "N" in the numbers.

E - The sum of the 4 digits from the marker with the "S" in the numbers.

Use the information gathered at stage 1 and stage 2 to determine the final coordinates as follows:

Do a projection of (A + B + C + D + E + 195) meters at a bearing of (A + B + C + D + E + 34) degrees from the projected coordinates you determined above.

The digital root of the 7 digits in north is 6 and the digital root of the 8 digits in the west is 9.
