Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates!! Please don't hunt for a container here!

This is a replacement for the archived Tin Hats (https://coord.info/GC4NZ8V) which had to go after the original GZ became unsuitable for a physical cache.

This new multi-cache has two virtual stages: Stage 1 is at the same place as the original virtual stage for Tin Hats - so if you have already found the previous cache, this should be familiar.

When you get here, look for the date the plaque was unveiled (ABth September). The date may be obscured by items placed on it. Look carefully before moving anything. If you do have to move something, be respectful of the purpose of these items and replace them exactly as found.

For Stage 2, (go to N 52° 02.653 W 000° 45.603), walk across the car park (take care!) and follow the path at the right hand side of Secklow Mound up on to the mound. You should be near another plaque which tells you that the mound was excavated in 19CC and 19CD, the council offices are E0 yards away and the gap was F00 years.

Note that there are wooden insect hotels, hedgehog hotels and bird boxes in several gardens in CMK. Please do not disturb these. The cache is NOT hidden in a container which resembles any of these. (It's not made of wood!)

Additionally, the actual mound is a scheduled monument. This is the area bounded by a (partial) circular ditch to the right of the path - looking towards the library from the car park. The cache is on the other side of the path and is not within the scheduled area.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
