People’s Park is the most beautiful and best maintained public park in all of Davao City. By keeping somewhat rigorous security and strict operating hours, city management has been able to provide a wonderful public greenspace with lots of shade. Contemporary sculptures are displayed throughout the park, and there is a fantastic, safe playground for the kids to enjoy. This park is a safe place to jog and exercise, or to sit and relax. And the adjacent Pasalubong Center is the perfect place to pick up some local souvenirs.
The cache is located a short walk from the main entrance. You will need to visit during the park’s operating hours:
5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Daily
1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday
1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
The park is close from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every day for clean-up and maintenance.
***PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE*** Use EXTREME stealth! This location is very urban and always crowded with muggles. I recommend leaning against the railing and watching for muggles before retrieving the cache. And be sure to put it back EXACTLY where you found it.
