Just recently, I have noticed an explosion of painted rocks or more precisely flat pebbles that have been decorated in many different styles placed in random places here in NZ and overseas, similar to Geocaching in that they are collected and taken to other places , sometimes they are replaced by others for the next person to find.
Close to where this Painted Rock Cache is now, there was a small cache heavily camoed in the fork of a tree which kept on getting moved out of the way and replaced with a Painted rock. Ive decided to move the cache to a better location that will serve the interests of both groups.
The cache is a heavily camoed false rock and Ive informed the local " Westie Rocks" group about the Geocaching sport and several have expressed interest to join up. This cache is not a Members Only cache to keep it simple and easy to find. We will see how it goes.
Cache contains just a log strip, bring your own pen (BYOP)
Just swivel the base to get to the log, please dont unscrew it.
