The Wellpark Brewery, originally known as the Drygate Brewery, was found in 1740 and is now famous around the world for the Tennent’s Lager brand. The lager has been part of Scotland and its culture for generations and, over the years, the brewery has also become part of the Glasgow landscape.
Next to the nearby Glasgow Necropolis, it is one of the city’s landmarks on Duke Street, which was once the longest continuous street in Britain.
When approaching GZ, you can find another great mural by local street artist Smug, who tackled every inch of the Wellpark Brewery wall to illustrate the brand’s memory lane.
