Wizard of Oz- #8 "Wicked Witch"
Upon meeting the Wizard he asks for them to prove their worthiness by retrieving the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West! She is a terrible, frightening witch and wants Dorothy's ruby shoes for their great powers. It is going to take great courage to confront the Wicked Witch. As they go bravely on their quest, the Wicked Witch sends her flying monkeys to capture Dorothy and Toto! The three friends decide to rescue Dorothy by disguising themselves as guards to sneak into the witch’s castle. They defeat the wicked witch by throwing a pail of water and melting her into a puddle! They take her broomstick and return triumphantly to the Wizard at the Emerald City.
