The very sharp turn back and to the right make this an easy park to miss. Easy beach access from this little park. Nice place to stop for a beach picnic, lots of parking and public bathrooms. Very scenic short trail and bridge to a sandy beach. Stroller friendly. A hiking trail and picnic tables around for that lunch stop you needed!
Clallam Bay West County Park is an 8.64-acre park on the west side of the Clallam River. The no-bank park provides year-round access to one mile of public shorelines. Purchased in 2011, the park is a lovely site to stop for a pleasant stroll along the scenic saltwater beach. Eventually, the facility will have multiple picnic areas for area visitors. The Park is located one mile west of the Clallam Bay Spit County Park, along Highway 112, 46 miles west of Port Angeles.
