Geocache Description:

This street is quite close to the lovely Hyde park United Methodist church. Which is very close to Bayshore, has been around for a long time. In fact it was the sponsor of the second Girl Scout troop in the United States, which was founded in 1913 by Mrs. Jessamine Link, a personal friend of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low. The original troop started out with only nine girls. The West Central Florida area today has about 19,000 Girl Scouts. This church was a very significant part of the Girl Scouts history. The cache is a circular metal container covered in black duct tape located a few streets behind the main church.
