At a recent event I hosted, my daughter created a sneaky geocache container that she was just so excited to hide somewhere. The only problem was that it was a micro cache, and these are not her favorite caches to find because they never have trade items in them. I always tell my kids to hide the kinds of geocaches that you like to find, so she figured out a way to hide her sneaky micro, but still have a nice big cache full of trade items... a MULTI! Luckily, we had supplies at the event to create a good final container, which she decorated nicely.
Cache containers in hand, we set off one day to find a good hiding spot. I suggested one of our favorite trails to go for a short hike, located behind St. John's college. (I posted some parking coordinates for all you out-of-towners.) A short hike up the Chamiso Arroyo will bring you to my daughter's geocache. I won't lie, the first stage, which is a micro, might be pretty tricky. Bring tweezers and your caching patience. Hopefully you'll spot it quickly, but if not, you can always check the hint.
As for the name of the geocache, well, I have no idea what it means, you'll have to ask my daughter.
