Este cache forma parte del proyecto Erasmus+ Minds on the Move. Hemos decidido poner este cache para dar a conocer la magnífica Villa Romana cercana al pueblo de Salar. Aquí se han encontrado restos de hace varios siglos como mosaicos, esculturas o pinturas; La Villa Romana de Salar, fue un hallazgo fortuito. Salió a la luz en el año 2004, cuando se preparaban los terrenos para la construcción de una estación depuradora de aguas residuales. Hoy en día se ha podido recuperar un sector importante de la “pars urbana”, de una lujosa villa romana. Esta residencia tiene su inicio en el primer cuarto del siglo I de nuestra era, y es abandonada durante la primera mitad del siglo VI.

This cache is part of the Erasmus + Minds on the Move project. We have decided to create this cache to make people aware of the existence of this awesome Roman villa near Salar village. Here mosaics, sculptures or paintings from different centuries have been found. The Villa Romana de Salar, was a fortuitous find. It came to light in 2004, when the land was prepared for the construction of a sewage treatment plant. So far it has been possible to recover an important sector of the "urban pars", of a luxurious Roman villa. This residence has its beginning in the first quarter of the first century of our era, and is abandoned during the first half of the sixth century.
